Research & Development
RESEARCH & INNOVATION LAB
The Research & Development division forms the scientific foundation of the Dr. Bock Institute. This is where we initiate projects to develop research designs for the independent evaluation of our methodology by leading Universities. Here, we apply Cognitive Systemics to the central challenges of the present and future, evolving coaching as a transdisciplinary profession for an era of disruptive change. We share project updates, milestones, and relevant findings through our Newsletter.

SCIENCE PROOF
HOW DOES COGNITIVE SYSTEMICS WORK?
Humanity possesses more information today than ever before—yet we face a massive Knowledge-Action Gap. In this project, we are establishing the framework for a formal scientific evaluation of Cognitive Systemics and the Inner Change® method to address this very phenomenon. Our goal is to initiate an independent University research study to investigate these effects—providing objective validation and vital feedback for the continued evolution of our practice.
SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE & AI
ENHANCING THE COGNITIVE CAPACITY OF HUMANS AND TECHNOLOGY
In collaboration with experts from the Cyberintelligence Institute (CII), this project explores how a new paradigm of AI can enhance the social intelligence of both humans and intelligent systems. The risks and rewards of highly advanced technology are directly correlated with the strategic and social intelligence of the people who develop and deploy them. We are investigating how Cognitive Systemics can bridge this gap to ensure a smarter, safer future.
THE DECONFLICTED CLINIC HUMAN EVOLUTION IN HEALTHCARE
Together with medical experts and psychiatrists, we are rethinking the ‘Clinic’ as a complex human ecosystem. We develop resilient models and practical solutions designed to improve human outcomes and systemic health. We publish our results openly to provide the ‘Schubkraft’—the driving force—needed for a profound and vital shift in how healthcare systems operate.
EVOLVING SUPERVISION
NEW MODELS FOR PROFESSIONAL COACHING
In collaboration with physicians, psychologists, and psychiatrists trained in Cognitive Systemics, we are developing next-generation models of supervision for coaches. Our mission is to explore how supervision can become a living standard—just as it is in other human-centric professions—for this vital and responsible new discipline. We believe that professional integrity in coaching requires the same level of rigorous, reflective practice found in established clinical fields.
